Description

It has been a while since I posted some flower photography up----so I figured that I would take some pictures outside my house. ^^ I found these wildflowers very interested because they have the colors of summer, and they were growing very nice. I hope you like it!

The concept of this piece is very nice, but the execution doesn't match in terms of quality. The composition of the piece is not interesting enough: try using the rule of thirds to direct our eyes to the flower rather than taking a photo of the flower head on. You can also make the actual flower sharper and the background blurrier by editing it to make it more striking.

The actual photo is not highly edited either. Try playing around with curves, saturation, brightness, contrast, color balance, etc., to see if you can edit the photo to make it brighter and more inviting. Right now it looks kind of dull and lifeless even though it's a photo of a flower. By simply editing the photo in photoshop or gimp, you can present the photo as much crisper and brighter.

Overall, this is a nice photo, with great promise, you just need to edit it a bit more. Nice work!
